March 1, 2017 – ECD is celebrating its recent Service Excellence Award win, which marks the second consecutive such accolade for the thermal profiling and dry storage technology pioneer. The awards contest, sponsored by Circuits Assembly magazine, is voted on by customers and evaluates participants in the key areas of dependability, value, quality, responsiveness and technology. ECD won the Soldering Equipment category for the second year in a row, underscoring the effectiveness of the company’s M.O.L.E. thermal profiling systems and its robust service mindset.
ECD President and CEO, Todd Clifton (pictured right), accepts the Service Excellence Award from Circuits Assembly magazine Editor-in-Chief, Mike Buetow.
“Being regarded as the best by our customers within these critical metrics is quite humbling and extraordinarily gratifying,” comments ECD President and CEO, Todd Clifton. “The ECD team is united in our aim to WOW customers in all areas, regardless of the interaction, and it is rewarding to have earned such high marks from the people we value most – our loyal customers.”
As part of the Service Excellence Award evaluation process, several customers were asked to rank ECD on various components of the product and service experience and, in addition to assigning a ranked numerical value, most customers shared their candid comments. Across the spectrum, from OEM to EMS and from small operations to high-volume manufacturers, the satisfaction with ECD is apparent and illustrated in remarks such as:
“When I call, I get an answer and all requests have transpired into effective actions and aided me in supporting my customers quickly.”
--Process Engineer, EMS company that serves the industrial, energy, security/mil-aero and communications sectors
“I believe ECD's products represent best-in-class due to the innovative features and information they provide the user on their process.”
--Quality Manager, OEM of industrial automation solutions for various industries
“M.O.L.E. and OvenRIDER have been the key tools I use for profiling and validating our process. They have always prompted us when we need to look into oven issues. M.O.L.E. makes profiling easy and definitely accurate. Excellent tools.”
“ECD has been one of the best suppliers and have provided the best customer service. Employees actually answered their phone when they were off, which I think is dedication; and they always provided great support. Whenever help is needed, they have always been there for us.”
--SMT Process Specialist, OEM of industrial, energy, infrastructure and transportation technologies
“We are grateful to the customers that took part in the assessment and to Circuits Assembly for facilitating this meaningful contest and feedback mechanism,” says Clifton in summary. “Our team is committed to service excellence and this validation only motivates us even more!”
